Refinitiv sources said the U.S. has agreed to daily negotiations through Aug. 19. Canada is prepared to address U.S. concerns on alcohol sales, dairy and the auto sector, but seeks exemptions from U.S. Section 232 tariffs under the Trade Expansion Act in return.
