Taiwan Stock Exchange Weighted Index closed June 30 up 1,126.01 points (+2.5%) at 46,125.91, taking the benchmark to a year-to-date gain of more than 60%. Strong semiconductor and AI-related exports drove the market to an intraday record high of 48,218. TSMC is up 58% YTD; MediaTek up about 200% YTD.
