Local time Sept. 1, multiple explosions were reported in southern Iran. Around 21:28 blasts were heard at Bandar Abbas port, Qeshm Island and Lavan Island. Iranian sources said U.S. forces struck Jiroft airport in Kerman province at about 21:40; Jiroft is roughly 200 km from the provincial capital Kerman. Later that evening explosions were also reported at Asaluyeh port, a major Persian Gulf energy hub.
