As of the 23:00 close, China’s main futures contracts were mixed. p-xylene, PVC and methanol rose more than 3%; ethylene glycol (EG), bottle-grade PET chips, asphalt and monthly-average plastics gained about 3%. On the downside, coke, coking coal, rapeseed oil and soybean No.1 fell over 1%; rapeseed meal, iron ore, rebar and hot-rolled coil declined around 1%.
