Tunisian media reported on Aug 22 that a migrant boat capsized the night of Aug 21 off southeast Tunisia near Ben Guerdane. Four bodies have been recovered and more than 10 people are missing. The maritime rescue center received a distress call saying at least a dozen people were aboard. Rescuers pulled two men from the water; one was hospitalized in critical condition. Maritime safety forces and authorized fishing vessels are continuing search-and-rescue operations.
