CFTC: for the week ended Aug. 18, speculators increased net short positions in CBOT 5‑year Treasury futures by 33,349 contracts to 1,274,105; increased net shorts in CBOT U.S. Treasury futures by 39,405 contracts to 219,012; and increased net shorts in CBOT ultra‑long Treasury futures by 19,941 contracts to 346,724.
