Korea Exchange data showed KOSPI constituent firms (720 companies) posted record 1H results driven by global demand for AI semiconductors. Consolidated operating profit rose 348.5% YoY to 275 trillion won (≈$195.2bn) in Jan–Jun. Consolidated revenue rose 34.5% YoY to 1,070 trillion won. Net profit jumped 330% YoY to 2,915 trillion won.
