As of 23:00 close, China’s main futures contracts were mostly higher: ethylene glycol (EG) up nearly 3%, synthetic rubber up over 2%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) up nearly 2%. Fuel oil, bottle‑grade PET chips, benzene and asphalt rose above 1%; PTA up nearly 1%. Starch fell more than 1%.
