Harvard Management Company disclosed a $2.2 bln stake in SpaceX in a Friday regulatory filing, making SpaceX the largest single-stock holding in its $4.3 bln U.S. equity portfolio. SpaceX’s record June IPO delivered substantial gains to university endowments that held earlier VC positions. The University of California’s investment office this week disclosed roughly $1 bln in SpaceX holdings; the University of North Carolina and Washington University in St. Louis also report stakes.
