Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs monitoring: on Aug. 12 the Agricultural Products Wholesale Price 200 Index was 114.43, up 0.16 points day-on-day; the "vegetable basket" wholesale price index was 114.75, up 0.20 points. As of 14:00, nationwide wholesale-market average prices were pork 15.85 yuan/kg (+0.8% day-on-day), beef 67.42 yuan/kg (unchanged), mutton 65.08 yuan/kg (+0.5% day-on-day), eggs 10.00 yuan/kg (+0.6% day-on-day) and dressed chicken 17.25 yuan/kg (+0.4% day-on-day).
