At the morning open, China’s main futures contracts were mixed. Soda ash rose over 3%; ethylene glycol (EG) and SHFE silver gained more than 2%; benzene, coking coal, propylene and fuel oil were up around 2%. Lagging were container-shipping Europe-route futures and polysilicon, both down over 2%; PTA fell about 2%; SHFE zinc and tin were down more than 1%.
