A Chinese research team produced a 1:5,000,000-scale complete lunar geological map. The main sheet measures about 2.8m by 1.2m, includes local maps of both poles, charts more than 13,000 impact craters and 81 impact basins, and classifies 14 tectonic categories and 17 rock types.
