Hyundai Motor and Kia sold 131,032 electric vehicles in Europe in 1H 2026, a 41.8% increase from 92,365 in the prior 1H. The companies said if the current sales pace holds to year-end, combined European EV sales would exceed 200,000 for the first time since they entered the market in 2014. Combined cumulative EV deliveries in Europe surpassed 1 million as of May.
