Wanguo Gold (03939.HK) said at about 00:45 on July 27 a localized slippage occurred on a non‑operational bench at the northwest rim of the No.1 pit in its Jinling open‑pit mine. The company said it had preemptively sealed and cordoned the area and implemented strict controls. There were no injuries or equipment/property losses; mine production and ongoing project construction were not affected.
