Yanchang Petroleum Group said its Yandong coalbed methane field in the Ordos Basin has proven geological reserves of 53.7 bln cubic meters, with the reserves reviewed and filed by the Ministry of Natural Resources. The company said the discovery marks a major advance in China’s deep unconventional resource exploration.
