After a recent sharp pullback KOSPI is attempting to rebound, but reclaiming prior highs in Q3 is unlikely and the market may remain rangebound into year-end, iM Securities researcher Kim Jun-young said on the 20th. Elevated financing balances amplify volatility and could widen index swings. He warned further declines could trigger margin-financing liquidations and credit-driven forced selling.
