Baltic Dry Index (BDI) extended its decline as weak Capesize and Panamax rates weighed. BDI fell 50 pts, or 1.8%, to 2,670. Baltic Capesize Index (BCI) dropped 142 pts, or 3.5%, to 3,911; Capesize average daily earnings fell $1,285 to $31,968. Baltic Panamax Index (BPI) lost 25 pts, or 1.1%, to 2,266; Panamax average daily earnings fell $224 to $20,393. Baltic Supramax Index (BSI) rose 21 pts, or 1.3%, to 1,685. Baltic Handysize Index (BHSI) gained 5 pts to 910.
