The capesize index dropped 140 pts (-3.2%) to 4,301; capesize average daily earnings fell $1,267 to $35,504. The panamax index rose 6 pts (0.3%) to 2,211, with panamax daily earnings up $51 to $19,897. The supramax index gained 4 pts (0.3%) to 1,618 and the handysize index added 7 pts to 875.
