Baltic Dry Index fell 98 points, or 3.36%, to 2,818, weighed by weakness in Capesize and Panamax rates. The Capesize index slid 278 points (5.9%) to 4,441; Capesize daily earnings fell $2,524 to $36,771. The Panamax index dropped 13 points (0.6%) to 2,205; Panamax daily earnings declined $120 to $19,846. Supramax rose 18 points (1.1%) to 1,614 and the Handysize index gained 3 points to 868.
