Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on June 8 that an explosion and fire at an LPG cylinder refilling station in Karshi district, Kashkadarya region, southern Uzbekistan killed six people and injured five. The blast destroyed four vehicles and two underground storage tanks. Flames have been extinguished, the injured were hospitalised, and authorities have set up an investigative committee.
