At the 23:00 close, China’s main futures contracts were mostly lower. Synthetic rubber led losses, down over 2%; 20# rubber fell nearly 2%. Styrene (EB) and ethylene glycol (EG) dropped more than 1%; palm oil, soda ash and PVC declined about 1%. On the upside, japonica rice rose nearly 2%; coking coal and asphalt gained over 1%, and PTA was up around 1%.
