Hong Kong stocks rallied into the midday close: Hang Seng Index +1.46%, Hang Seng TECH Index +3.48%. Tech heavyweights Tencent (00700.HK) and Meituan (03690.HK) led gains, both >7% by the half-day, driving the tech index higher. BYD (01211.HK), Alibaba (09988.HK) and Bilibili (09626.HK) were each up over 5%. May auto delivery data released; NIO (09866.HK), XPeng (09868.HK), SERES (09927.HK) and GAC Group (02238.HK) also rose.
