As of the 23:00 close, China’s domestic futures front-month contracts were mostly higher: low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose over 5%; fuel oil and methanol gained over 4%; asphalt climbed more than 3%; polypropylene and ethylene glycol (EG) rose over 2%. Soda ash and pulp slipped slightly.
