The Trump Accounts app went live on U.S. app stores on Thursday. Treasury Secretary BESSENT said the app offers families a simple, secure way to join a program aimed at building long-term financial strength. CNBC cited a Treasury spokesperson saying the app was developed with BNY MELLON and Robinhood Markets. From July, parents or guardians can fund new Trump Accounts (also known as 530A accounts) after completing enrollment on the program website. All U.S. children under 18 with a Social Security number may register, but only children born 2025–2028 are eligible for the Treasury’s $1,000 starter deposit.
