China issued about 91.8 billion yuan of land reserve special bonds in Q1 2026, slowing from prior quarters and accounting for 40.8% of property-related bonds, China Index Academy data showed. From Q2–Q4 2025, quarterly issuance topped 140 billion yuan, peaking at 198.2 billion yuan in Q4, or 71.3% of property-related bonds and over 20% of total new special bonds.
