Oil prices surged as Iran-related disruptions in the Persian Gulf widened the Brent-WTI spread to about $10 per barrel. Brent rose to roughly $108.40, while U.S. WTI hovered near $98.50, highlighting stress in global waterborne crude supply. Over the past month, Brent and WTI climbed roughly 43.4% and 42.5%, respectively, while other benchmarks fell 6.6%. One-day technical readings signal bullish momentum for Brent and WTI, while natural gas remains under pressure despite the broader energy rally.
