The Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant said on social media on the 25th that Ukrainian military drones struck the plant’s design department building, located outside the main reactor compound. Initial reports indicated no casualties and damage to several staff vehicles. The design department oversees safe operation of units and equipment upgrades. The plant said the strike posed no immediate radiation threat but could jeopardize long-term safety maintenance. Operations remain in a normal, safe state.
