The Israel Defense Forces said on Oct. 10 that on Oct. 7 it struck in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing Hamas Nukhba member Ismail Ibrahim Darwish Kandeel. The IDF said Kandeel took part in the Oct. 7 attacks and was directly involved in the operation that resulted in the death of an IDF Nahal Brigade commander.
