EU foreign-policy chief Kallas said all EU member states agree Israeli settlements in the West Bank violate international law and that Israel’s expansion of settlements is undermining prospects for a two-state solution. Twelve countries, including the UK, France and Canada, issued a joint statement committing to restrictions on trade in goods originating from Israeli settlements.
