Su Yun, deputy director of the PBOC’s Shanghai headquarters, said on Sept. 3 the office has surveyed corporate FX settlement demands, set up multi-department coordination and revised pilot supporting rules. The Shanghai HQ said it will support FX settlement for new trade models to help firms coordinate domestic and international markets and has stepped up inter-agency cooperation to speed policy implementation.
