On Aug. 30 U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said a U.S. Navy destroyer, the Delbert D. Black, was operating in the Arabian Sea as the U.S. continues its blockade of Iran. CENTCOM said it had directed 83 merchant vessels to alter course, disabled three vessels and boarded and inspected two to ensure compliance with blockade measures.
